Head of Chemistry
Werner Heilmayer joined Nabriva Therapeutics in January 2006 as Head Chemistry. Prior to his appointment at Nabriva he was Head of the Medicinal Chemistry Department of ABRI. Werner has 10 years experience in medicinal chemistry of pharmaceutical active compounds, including identification and optimization of lead structures. In addition, he has broad experience in the optimization of chemical synthesis of compounds. Werner holds a Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry from the University of Graz.
