Vienna – Dr. John Goka, a top pharmaceutical drug developer, has just joined the management team of antibiotics specialist company, Nabriva Therapeutics, as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Nabriva is an Austrian biotech company specializing in the development of novel antibiotics. Dr. Goka will assume immediate responsibility for Nabriva’s clinical development.
John Goka brings with him over three decades’ experience in the field of research and development. After specialist training in gastroenterology and hepatology in St. Bartholmew’s and Kings hospitals in London, John joined Pfizer in the UK where he took several compounds through global development to the market in a career spanning over 15 years. John has developed compounds in GI, urology and infectious diseases including a major new antibiotic.
