Nabriva has app. 2000 proprietary cephalosporin derivatives many of them belonging to the new generation of anti-MRSA cephalosporins, targeting a variety of life-threatening hospital infections. In addition to its great activity against resistant gram-positive pathogens, the program addresses new resistance challenges among gram-negative bacteria, including producers of extended beta-lactamases. Nabriva is in the process of selecting a front-runner for further development.
